An order came in for an "Adults Only" Dinner Party.
I was given free reign to "surprise" the customer.

Personally, I love variety, I love small doses of treats, makes me feel less guilty.  So there, our Petite Trio is born.

Start with the Passionfruit Delice, tangy topping with a creamy mousse, as a palette cleanser.  Next up, our Rich Dark Chocolate Cake with a Fudgy Frosting, very unsweet, very dark.  To finish off, enjoy your tea or coffee with a Salted Caramel Macaron.

Serves 15 people.

The Gluten Free Cake

We finally had the opportunity to make the Gluten Free Cake again (chocolate, butter, a bit of sugar, eggs eggs and more eggs)

My sis-in-law's firm ordered another cake; I seriously cannot believe how delicious this cake is.

It's dense cakey at the bottom, rich fudgy mousse on top.  This cake serves 10 (Greedy) to 14, Only $55.

Update:  The party's over and the cake is cut (parents are flat out!).

Aretha turns 13 this weekend!  Officially, we are now parents to a teenager!

Turning 13 is exciting... but once you pass 26...You stop counting.  

For Aretha 13 means she's allowed on Facebook, 13 means she's a Teen.

She's celebrating her birthday tomorrow with her friends in the evening (it's our 1st night time party too!)

We had had a few very chaotic weeks from the school holidays and an automobile accident in July.

Surprise!  Thanks to a very special sister-in-law, we fulfilled our 1st order today!   We were told that the cake was very well received.  Thank you D!

For the last 8 years, Aretha and Claire (TPG = The Peet Girls) will celebrate their birthdays in style at school by bringing these cupcakes.  They are ever so so popular, the girls are frequently "accosted" by friends who had had a taste the year before.

Unlike most  cupcakes, our frosting is creamy, with no icing sugar grittiness.  The cake has just enough sugar, it's dark and rich, because we believe eating any cake with frosting is a whole experience, not just eating the cake with the frosting scraped off or licking the frosting on it's own.  We can't describe it more, you've got to taste it to appreciate the cupcake.
